SCS SB 418 -- SUPPLEMENTAL NURSING CARE PROGRAM

Currently, the Supplemental Nursing Care Program provides a
monthly payment of up to $25 for the personal care needs of a
person 65 years of age or older who is disabled or blind and has
limited financial resources and is in a residential care or
skilled nursing facility.  This bill increases that payment to
always equal the current vendor nursing facility personal needs
allowance provided by the Missouri Medicaid Program.  The current
Medicaid allowance is $30 per month.
